Planning a Visit

Rock Youth students have their own fun, engaging services every Wednesday on campus at 6:00 pm.  This night is filled with powerful worship, fun games, a relevant message, and then they break into small groups according to their grade level.

On Sunday mornings, students in grades 6th and 7th grade are dismissed at a designated time during  2nd service. At the end of 2nd service, parents of students are asked to pick them up in the Students Ministries room.

We provide ministry for infants through 5th grade during both of our Sunday morning services. Your child will be with trained volunteers in a safe environment where they can learn about God. They will have fun, too, while they play in our gigantic play structure and learn from a curriculum designed just for their age group.

We are confident in the safety and effectiveness of our children’s learning and play environments. Because of this, we prefer for children to attend Rock Kids while adults are in the main auditorium. We assure you that both you and your child will be growing in God.

Our check-in process is quick and safe. Volunteers can help you get your child checked in so you can both have a blast!

Take Exit 44 off of Interstate 40.
Turn Right off of the Exit.
Turn Right onto Acton Circle – just before McDonalds.
Turn Right at Light onto Monte Vista Rd.
The Rock Church entrance is on the Left – 0.7 Miles.

I attended services, and now I want to get more involved. What should I do?

Starting Point events are great places to start! You get to hear our church’s history, our pastors’ hearts, and what’s ahead for us. You’ll learn about volunteering, Rock Groups, you’ll meet staff and volunteers, and you’ll make some new friends. Ultimately, you’ll want to find a way to serve and locate a Rock Group to attend. These are the ways you will build your closest relationships!

What should I wear?

We all have times we want to know if we will fit in, so here are some tips:
While you won’t see many suits, ties, or dresses,  you also won’t see many bare feet or gym shorts. The fashion vibe tends to be trendy with a sharp but casual lean. But that’s not a rule; it’s just what some people wear. Otherwise, we have blouses and polos, khakis and jeans, high heels and Birkenstocks, beards and smooth shaves – and some tattoos thrown in there, too. But don’t sweat it! You are our V.I.P. no matter what you wear and no matter how you look.

So, is this a Baptist church, or…?

Outside of our adherence to the Bible’s model, we are not affiliated with a particular denomination. We love Jesus. We love the Bible. We are protestant, encouraging each believer to connect to God through prayer and scriptures. We are progressive in terms of our methodology, but are passionately committed to Biblical truth. Our pastor casts the vision, our staff team leads the way, our volunteers are the powerhouses behind every life changed, and we have many friends in ministry who share in the journey with us.
