Living in the Favor  Zone

Luke 2:52

And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

  • Jesus relied on the favor of God to fulfill His calling.
  • Your destiny is found in your connections.

Psalm 30:1

I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, and have not let my enemies rejoice over me.

  • God loves you just like you are — but He also loves you enough to not leave you just like you are.
  • The gospel lifts people; it restores dignity, breaks poverty, heals brokenness, and restores wholeness.
  • Your life is greater with God in it than you would ever be on your own.

Psalm 30:2-4

O Lord, my God, I cried to You for help and You healed me. O Lord, You have brought up my soul from Sheol; You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit. Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name.

Psalm 30:5

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.

  • The dominant flow of God in our life is His favor.
  • The favor of the Lord is like a protective shield.

Psalm 5:12

For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.

  • A life of favor doesn’t mean there won’t be attacks or difficulties. But God will always turn it around for your good.
  • The favor of the Lord blesses the work of your hands.

Psalm 90:17

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; and confirm for us the work of our hands; yes, confirm the work of our hands.

  • Favor causes the work you put your hands toward to prosper.

Proverbs 22:1

A good name is to be more desired than great riches; favor is better than silver and gold.

  • You can lose the silver or gold, and favor will get it back.
  • Favor opens doors money cannot open; it gives you opportunities.
  • God is raising up a generation who are able to hold prosperity in one hand and the purposes of God in the other hand.

Psalm 30:7

O Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong; You hid Your face, I was dismayed.

  • Favor and prosperity position us in a place of strength.
  • We are in a battle for the souls of men. Lives are in the balance. A generation is in the balance.
  • We have to be able to have a strong position to fulfill the vision God has entrusted to us.
