Enlarging Your World

Psalms 36:5-9 Your lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountain of God; Your judgments are like a great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast. How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.

Six considerations that will enlarge your world

  1. Consider the bigness and nearness of God

    • God’s purpose is titanic and his power is enormous; He is big and He is able
    • Pray the promise, not the problem
    • 2 Corinthians 6:11-13; don’t shrink back into a corner
    • God is big enough to meet any and every need in your life
    • Nothing and no one falls through the cracks with God
  2. Consider the bigness of the house of God

    • When people see church as mainly restrictive, they don’t see it the way God does
    • Don’t let the world tell you how to do church
    • Don’t diminish the house of God; both the way it operates and the place it holds in your world
    • Keeping God’s house big in your thinking and life will enlarge your world
  3. Consider the bigness of abundance thinking

    • There is no shortage with God; El Shaddai “He is more than enough”
    • Jesus came to give you an abundant life; we were born into abundance
    • Abundance simply means more than enough: think overflow
    • Ephesians 3:20; God’s ability is beyond all that we could ask or think
  4. Consider the bigness of “river” thinking

    • The river of God flows through you; river thinking is generous thinking
    • River thinking knows what is in your hand today is a seed
    • Be convinced there is a river flowing or you will hold tightly to your piece of pie
  5. Consider the bigness of “life”

    • God is a giver of life; drink from that fountain
    • Jesus comes to bring us into life; not rules and religion, but life
    • Walk in life: what awakens your soul, fires your imagination, resonates with your inspiration
  • Consider the bigness of “light”
    • God turns on the lights for us
    • You don’t need to know everything to succeed in life
    • If your perspective is clear on anything; you will walk in light
    • Live in the light of God’s word on every matter
    • Meditate on the word to have God turn on the lights for you
